Why not one of the Decepticons?

Because the Autobots only encouraged him. Besides, I think Optimus and his crew and been secretly yearning to crush him like a bug since the second movie.

Yeah. One of them steps backwards and he just happens to be standing in the wrong place at the wrong time - crunch/squish followed by a quick widening of the eyes and a comedic "Oops" and hand over the mouth from the Autobot in question and then they could count it towards the comedy quota that they seem to have to fulfill in these movies.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

No humans (annoying male lead, eye candy who cant act, pointless "comic relief parents, generic marines) set it on Cybertron, give us Dinobots and Unicron.

Dynobots and Unicron would be sweet! I'd like to see a real Devastator.

Agreed. I'd also add to that - no toilet humor and take some time to come up with an inventive narrative.

they should just do a batman and spider-man

start all over again. And kick Bay in the one ball and tell him to f*ck off!

None of the human characters are returning according to this article....

Please let this be true

I don't know where they are going to with it if it is a sequel. ALL the major Decepticons are dead. To boot they have already resurrected Megatron once, and even a transition to Galvatron would seem to be trading on the same ground IMHO.

Ideally Bay would be replaced, it takes a special kind of director to make 3 films about giant transforming robots boring as hell.
