Just a FYI, maybe I missed the pictures here with all the stuff happening in my RL, but CC has posted some break out rex images I hadn't seen before on facebook early last month. If "you" haven't seen them yet ya might want to head over and check them out.

Why would I want something that's not accurate to JP canon? That may be a realistic scientific portrayal of a T-Rex but it's far from the signature JP scene most of us want.

But hey to each his own...you are posting in a Jurassic Park product thread.

*Minor clarification* not knocking on the background to the custom Sideshow repaint just in egards to the T-Rex itself in the picture.

+1

SMH. If I wanted something that doesn't look like a JP Rex with horrible QC, then I would pick this one. Not to mention this is just a reissue with a different color. Real original.

I have a feeling he was talking about BiCi's repainted custom rex diorama job being better than what CC is producing, rather than a CC vs SS comparison.

Aside from the inferior pose, he may be right. It's pretty hard for factory workers to compete against fan passion, not that they even try to. So, it's not a fair comparison whatsoever. When I get my rex and I do basically the same diorama that BiCi did but with CC's break out Rex, it'll be pretty clear who the winner is for that specific diorama.

The JP ford explorers are a huge problem....I might have to learn to build the damn things from scratch my self because I'm pretty iffy on the current conversion methods and the lone model kit that's super rare and poorly detailed. If I do that I will make sure to make a record of their construction in case they turn out incredible. I'm sure it'd be a great service to mankind....

What I need is a 3D printer so I just might go ahead and buy one of those. What an exciting time to be alive. 3D printers...we're living in the future!

Stego has been approved.

Just waiting on approvals of our 1:6 line and paint and final approval on Breakout Rex. We haven't received our paint masters yet...
