Prime 1 Studio: 1:4 New 52 Flash - Page 14

A lot of talk on this forum looking for a Flash piece. This sculpt isn't bad and I'm not sure how it would scale to SSC PFs but that grandma rose metallic paint is painful.

Tried a quick photoshop to make him actually red and yellow. It's harder to take the metallic out.

I think it does the sculpt so much more justice. It's a shame that it would require a 90% repaint of the figure to achieve the look of the comics.

I have this on preorder and can't wait for this guy! I don't think SSC will be able to execute a Flash statue better than this and even if they do, it won't be out for probably another 18-24 months. I'm also optimistic about Prime 1's quality control for the production piece over SSC's. I am hoping to get him this month but I have a feeling it will be a February delivery.

Sized the Flash down to be in relation to FP Bats (32" tall vs 21" tall). What do you think? Looks ok together? Since Flash probably won't ship until February, I can wait to see if any new 1/3 Flash or Reverse Flash statues are revealed at Winter Wonderfest. I'm desperate for a Flash statue, and I think the P1 is the one to get.

It's not too close as SSC website still does not calculate shipping cost when checking out.

Meaning they don't know the final dimensions or weight of the box yet.

Delayed two months, must of missed the Chinese New Year cut off.... going to Feb/March.

Latest fast man alive... at least in this hobby.

Too bad, but not surprised. The wait continues! Delays are just one of the unfortunate realities of this hobby.

Ordered this in October 2017 and I think it was up for preorder several months before that. Man, these waits are unbelievable. Still, 2 months should go by relatively quickly.
