Yeah.. best of luck, CK. As a prior resident of the East Coast myself, all I can say is.. "welcome back to the wet". Hope all your dealings out here go well.

I forgot to mention that when my family was in town over the holidays, we visited Portland one of the days they were up, and stopped by TFAW... I thought the lay-out of the store was okay for the space they have to put such a large selection of items in. Statue selection was pretty good, and I didn't see horrendous price-gouging, thankfully.

Amusingly enough, though, my bro-in-law loved the small comic store here in Eugene (it's the sister store that specializes more in merchandise than comics.. the main store's pretty much a nightmare), as they have phase 1 Bowen statues and busts for $40 up through $120 for some of them.. all the phases are there, but I'm not sure they know how to price the statues accordingly (nor did we inform them of such knowledge.. haha). My bro-in-law bought three busts and I bought a full-sized.

My car was being bucked around a bit by the wind on the drive down from Seattle earlier this evening (and she's a beast.. haha).. stay safe on the freeways, guys.

Might as well toss this out there sooner than later.

I'm doing a LOT of studio work in Bellevue, from now up until May.. do any of you have a room or even a COUCH I can sleep on? Hahaha... I'm going to look for a room for rent for the three days a week (I'm in the studio usually Wednesdays through Fridays.. so would be arriving Tues. night/Wed. morning, and leaving every Friday) I'll be in the Bellevue area (near Seattle), but I thought I'd throw my hat in this ring first to see if any of you could help me out. Obviously I'd be paying rent/etc.. we could work that out. Anything's better than continuing to pay $150 or so a night four nights in a row per week, which I have been the past couple of months.

Obviously I'd take care of myself as far as food is concerned, etc. Just trying to keep myself from the kick to the jewels the trip is costing me every week...

I have a few friends in Washington I could try (and my wife suggested checking the papers up there), but I thought I'd ask here also. I'm low-maintenance, enjoyable, and "normal".

This would only be through May, and yes.. I'd come up first so any of you who are interested could meet me so you wouldn't think I'm some axe murderer.. haha.

My wife and dogs would stay here at home.. where they belong.
