This piece looks great from the teaser image, I missed the awesome SS Mags, and the Mags on a throne was out my price range. Can’t wait to see more.

Did they sculpt his cape to be made of fabric or tissue paper?

Excited to see the full reveal though. This is different for a Magneto statue as many are very similar.

I am honestly considering buying the 1/3rd scale Mags. I would hate picking up the LBS Mags, because my other Marvel statues are quarter scale. The back of this quarter scale piece in this teaser looks awkward. I hate how smooth the cape looks, and at least from this angle his feet/legs look weird. I would need to see the front to know for sure, but the LBS piece appears to outclass this statue completely.

I wonder given the new prices for XM pieces, how much more the 1/3 will even be compared to this one.

I believe the base 1/3 Magneto was $1480 USD? Wouldn't be shocked to see this one creep up to $1300 range.

Sigh.. Time to be picky so that I can get this expensive and awesome looking Magneto into my collection..

Me, too. But I think I have a liking for characters that get misused. Magneto and Professor X are both two of my favorites and the only story Professor X is ever given in the last 10-15 years is he has a secret that gets exposed and everybody?s mad at him all over again lol.

Magneto has flip flopped more than anybody since his original redemption in the 1980s. Every 5-10 years or so he?s an X-Man, then creative teams change and he?s right back to being a murderous villain again, creative team switches up again and he?s right back on the team and everybody trusts him enough all over again lol.

Just keep him in the grey area. Not a righteous savior (except to other mutants who agree with him), but also not Ultimatum, Grant Morrison level evil.
