Honestly, I can't imagine why this pose wouldn't be popular. I mean, it's an iconic pose.....Sure it hides his face, but come on - who doesn't instantly recognise this as Gandalf.....

It’s a great pose but it’s a horrible choice for a 1/2. Both can be true.

Finding a museum case to fit this in will be a serious undertaking......it worth it.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I like the pose, it's original.
I rewatched the movie a few days ago and it's my favorite scene in the whole trilogy.

No iconic hat, can't see his face, super hard to display, weird randomly placed tiny Balrog on base; yea no reason to be unpopular...

If you saw a heat wave, would you wave back?

Exactly. The pose is perfect for the scene, and looks amazing. Has been realised perfectly

Completely impractical to display though, I can see a lot of people keeping this in the open

I was blown away by this mixed media Gandalf preview by Infinity. A perfect pose, 100% likeness, how on earth anyone can bag this piece I just don't understand. In fact the entire LOTR line by Infinity is seriously next level in detail. You need to appreciate this piece regardless of size, Infinity nailed it.

I share your opinion on this. Sure, it could have been done in another pose, it might have included a hat....there's thousands of things that could be done differently.....but, I love what they HAVE done.

If the price is anywhere near Legolas, I'd be willing to get this piece.

Are you going to buy it then? I can't imagine anyone who collects 1/2 liking the pose. I have enough trouble displaying regular pose 1/2 pieces as it is. This takes up almost as much volume as a life size figure.
