I was just reading that article. Uncle Ray is one of my favorite authors, and he was quite the gentleman. I'll certainly miss him.

I had the pleasure of meeting him at a local book signing in the late 90's; he stayed after to read some writing I had on me.... the man was a real Gentleman.
He lived in Santa Barbara at the time.
Rest in peace, Ray.. thank you for helping me keep on the creative path.
