At times I found that video very disturbing to watch, and yet I couldn’t stop watching.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I think Sideshow had to approve this level of red. It’s the norm.

The SW fandom of the 80s-90s was the only true fandom. What it morphed into after '99 and from 2015 to the present is unrecognizable. Everyone is a "geek" now.
We all know that SW '77 and TESB couldn't be made in the same way today. The mindsets and talents of then are totally different. What's sad are longtime SW fans joining in on this decline, because they buy everything "SW".

I think the original three films were overhyped as well. People are clinging to their fond childhood memories and chastising the new films because they don’t generate the same feelings as the originals watched about 40 years ago.
Star Wars has always been okay. It was a groundbreaking franchise at the time of its release, but to anyone just watching them now, it’s not something unique.

Bolded: I wish that was true. Online I find places like this, but in real life if I want to talk Mandalorian? Maybe one person around I know that cares at all about Star Wars (discussing Star Trek, Dune, or Foundation? Ha!)

"Only true Fandom" sounds like some elitist gate keeping garbage to me.
I'm 41 and was taken to the theaters to watch The OT as kid, Empire is one of my favorite all time films, but I'm not going to deny anyone Star Wars fandom because they aren't some old timer.
