Will The PS5 Be Fully Backwards Compatible?

Hi, folks.I just want to ask, does anyone know if the Playstation 5 will be fully backwards compatible, being able to play ALL PS4 games?[I ask, as from what I can recall, the 60 GB PS3 could only play certain PS2 games, and not all].Cheers!

From what I read on an article coming from one of the sony higher ups, I understood that the ps5 will be actually backwards compatible and play all ps4 games.

I have read that the Playstation 5 will support PS4 games, and 8K TV's along with 4K TV's and i presume standard HD 1080 (which is what i'm still using with my PS4).

I still have the original PS3, it was fully backward compatible, played PS2 along with original PS1 titles. I never ran into a title not working.

Xbox one was supposed to be fully compatible with the 360.. a lot of those titles did not work..and still don't til this day.
Maybe you have your System's confused.
Either way they say the PS4 games and accessories should all work on the PS5.
