They certainly can't be any more LOUD than two of the four houses on this block.. the renters before them, and the owners across from our two houses, all have diesel trucks that wake the neighborhood when they start them up...
.. yet the owner's wife has come over a couple of times when I first moved here a little over a year ago to say my classical music was too loud.. at noon... on a Saturday (and it wasn't loud, regardless). Her husband's cool, but she isn't... so one of the Saturdays following that I swapped out Classical music for Tool, Pantera and Above & Beyond for a couple of hours. F#ck her.
The other house is a college professor and his wife, and they're awesome.. and quiet, with two kids.
.. but yeah, I miss my neighborhood in Oregon.
