This one is going to be part of Sony Pictures deal with Twilight Time, to release catalog titles as limited edition "made to order" Blu-rays. They won't be sold everywhere, but rather only through online ordering, on Twilight Time's site.
It's a bit of a bummer, because these are going to be bare bones for the most part, unless there are pre-existing extras.
I was hoping for a better release of Fright Night in particular, due to the remake, but for some reason they decided to go this way with it.
Depending on what it turns out like and how much it costs, I will likely be ordering it, as I'm a big fan.
Here's a link to the thread that has all the info about this:

No problem.
I'm all for these made to order releases of deep catalog titles, but I don't see Fright Night falling into that category. Especially not with the remake, and the recent reunion screenings etc. I guess if it turns out to be a nice transfer, I'll be fine with it, but I wish they could have given it a bit more love.

I liked Pitch Black a lot - but Chronicles of Riddick was pretty unwatchable...

The only problem I have with any "made to order" title is committing to a release before knowing if the transfer is decent. I haven't taken the time to read through all the details in your link but do you have to place a pre-order to secure this?

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean, and that's the thing with these. Not only are they made to order, but they have an ES attached, FN is 1500 I think. So there's a danger that if you wait, it may sell out. There's also been mention made about these turning into money makers, by speculators looking to sell these upon sellout on ebay, due to their limited nature.
With other "made to order" releases, from companies like WB, they're available indefinitely. The quality is usually average at best, because most of these have only been given minimal treatment to get them onto disc. Even the discs themselves are DVD-R, not actual pressed DVDs.
I guess we'll have to wait and see, but I'm sure they'll at least be better than the DVD, I would hope.

Pitch Black was great; "Chronicles..." was... low-grade sci-fi with Riddick thrown in. Watchable, but not memorable. I've only seen it once, but it seemed like Riddick the "anti-hero" vs. everyone; I preferred Riddick the captured criminal choosing to save his captors from an unknown enemy, myself (ie, "Pitch Black"); plus, the novelty of the planet, the aliens, and their situation was entertaining.
