That's the first stage of modeling process. First of all the sculptor works in a "T" pose in order to make a properly anatomy of the body/proportions.

Then it came the pose phase. No worry about it

Great news that Sosa is doing Thor now. Not that great because I can't buy it anyway. XM is just too pricey. If they were in the US i'd be way more excited.

Tony C is a great sculptor . The reason why we get Mr Sosa to redo the Thor in 3D is because all of our statues are done in 3D and we are able to get their sizes correctly during the printing process . When we received Tony traditional sculpt we feel that the Thor size is a little too big as compared to the rest. So we decided to redo the Thor in 3D to get the sizes to match with the rest .

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Just to make it abundantly clear - i wasn't attacking Tony C. - i love his work and for me he is one of THE most talented, classical sculptors out there!
It is just, that his Thor sculpt didn't scream Thor, it was off in a lot of places (and i'm pretty sure, some of my fellow collectors will agree to that).

Funnily, since i never had a clear comparison shot with other XM collectibles close by, there was no way for me to tell if he was too tall.

But what i could clearly see was the sculpt itself, and there were certainly some other things wrong than purely the size.

But anyways, whatever the reasons were/are, to let Erick redo the piece - it has worked and Thor sure looks like another winner for XM - Congratz!!
