Statue Display

Hello All-

First post here, so please forgive me if this is the wrong area.

I am remodeling a living room into my comics oasis. I am wanting to display my 6 1/4 favorite pieces. I am currently eyeing buying six DF 60 Moducases, one for each statue. Those are the only ones I can find that can both accommodate the size of the pieces as well as their weight (with the customized increased weight bottoms) as I intend to stack them three on three.

Is this my only sure route? Is there something out there that some of you clever collectors have found that would save me a ton of money? Or is Moducase really the way to got o get the most out of these statues?

Thank you advance and again I pologize if I posted in the wrong forum.

You could have someone build custom shelves but I don't know what the price difference would be (if any). I know the Moducases are a little pricey (but nice).

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

there is IKEA BESTA. you can get cabinets but you will need to get the glass doors separate. i think it use to come with glass doors but they stopped.

this one is a old guide but the guys explains it.

also Ikea besta page

not sure if this one will fit but here

the one you posted probably has the best quality and most likely will require less work, in return its very costly for each statue. One thing to note is with besta, you can only view it from front and not the sides. im currently looking for a glass one but not much luck.

also if you do find another good one, let me know. i'm also looking for good statue display for 1/4 and 1/3. what i really want is a glass door and any method to prevent dust going in.

I built my custom display. It fit about 12 to 20 statues 1/4 scale and it cost me less than $500 in materials; $300 more if I install glass doors

This is my custom statue display:

The video shows how everything was done if you'd like to do something similar.

Another option is to use garage shelf units... usually the metal ones are better than the plastic ones. You can spend as little as $70 for a metal shelf unit and maybe another $30 in wood trim, paint and make something really nice.

Good luck !
