I am one of those who has decided to take the fewer pieces route, as i like 1/4 scale.
I prefer 1/4 scale. I’m just buying less now. I was looking at my past orders and the price and shipping was so cheap. Talon PF was $290 and $8 shippping or Halo MC was $400 and $45 shipping. Now those 2 would cost $550 & $800 with shipping at $45 and $90 respectively.

On average i am looking at:
$600 1/4 piece
$80 shipping (some times more)
$120 (20%) import fee
+ sometimes other small fee's customs like to attach?

It gets worse if i buy off of ebay, and the US seller uses Ebay Global shipping.
A typical price for shipping 1/4 scale can be $150 + 30 to 40% of the value of the piece to import ???
Needless to say, i avoid all ebay sellers that use the ebay global shipping program.

Same here collecting much less now due to the insane rising prices, and besides most of these goes for less than retail these days. Why rush to po? Just take advantage of the people who cant wait and po over their head in statues. The buy later on down the road a huge discount. But I think SS will be ok. They now sell millions of cook books so I saw on their site. Maybe they are going into the restaurant business to make up the losses from less statue sales.

I actually think this looks really nice. 1/5 scale is not for me but for collectors of that scale or Captain Marvel fans, this looks like a winner.

Just received mine. Very disappointing statue. The face sculpture looks like a bootleg one, and awful paintjob. Better think twice before you buy. By the way, is it possible if I ask for exchange or refund I buy this from a third party?

Looks awful, even the unboxing video from sideshow looked bad

As for your question, you'd be best asking the third party

Thanks for posting this. Should I cancel my order now and demand they not keep the nonrefundable deposit based on the poor quality.

Or do you think there’s a chance that this was just a quality control issue and mine might be ok?
