Old school spinner racks are basically a metal cage that goes onto the stand, that's it. I don't think there's any dismantling to be done.

I think that the rack itself is divided into 2 parts (I THINK) at least all the ones that I've seen here have been, and the base is separate too ... but in any event ... I don't care I just want the damn thing.

Well Fedex would do that, I have an account with them, and it could be shipped Fedex Ground for cheaper than anyone driving it down.

It looks something like this ... it's 65 inches high and 12 inches wide according to the description.

The manager at my LCS says that she might be able to get me one, but it would be a new one like the one pictured in post # 16.

The good thing is that at least in a new one it would fit comics with bags & boards, but a vintage one, they probably won't fit.
