favorite games
what is your favorites
magic the gathering.this was one of my all time favorite games. i got it for the ps3 now and my son has started to pay so i picked up some new cards. i started back with unlimited and had thousands of cards. i sold them all years ago when everyone i knew stopped playing. got thousands for them. i am beyond happy to be playing again even if i dont have all the moxes and such powerful cards anymore.
talisman. this was a great boardgame. i had a copy and a friend had a copy and we sold one for hundreds of dollars and then a couple years later they rereleased it. you can get it plenty of places now and if you have not played it i highly recommend you get it and its add ons.

You can't go wrong with the classics: Monopoly, Risk, Stratego, Battleship, Mastermind, Operation!, Parcheesi
Mousetrap was fun until it came time to actually trigger the mousetrap... damn thing never worked.
I also love chess and Chinese Checkers (wait, can we still call it that?).

I've seen this at Target and have been tempted to pick it up. So it's pretty good?
Do we have any Mahjong players here? I was introduced to this game by a 90 year old woman who was sipping on scotch. She won every time.
