Ford are the biggest US car maker on the European Market. They make good cars over here.

we just finished the new BMW plant in south carolina and it is a lot like this. The statement at the end is what keeps that kind of plant being done here for the big three US auto companies. UAW will not allow it.

I have frieds working at Toyota, Kia and BWM here in the US and that are not in that union and all are very happy with the wages and benefits they recieve.

So this is down to unions? If BMW are confident enough to set up in the US that's a pretty good endorsement of the craftsmanship.

Years ago I would never consider buying a Ford, but because of all the great things I've been reading about them, I decided to get one for the wife this past Christmas. It's a fully loaded 2011 Ford Fusion Sport (3.5L V6, 263HP) and I'm really impressed with the car.

In fact, the car is so great, that I'm getting a 2012 Mustang built up for me at the end of the year. Anyone who over looks a Ford because of it's poor quality cars from the 90's are really missing out on excellent cars.

I have been buying Ford trucks since 01, and I have been very satisfied with them, the clincher was when a dumbass tourist ran a stop sign and hit me broadside doing about 50 and I walked away from the crash bruisefree and they were also driving a ford. This is why I buy em.
