Disney Bishoujos

I may be wrong, but I think they could get away with going a J Scott Campbell style of route by making sure they stay away from being too close to the Disney properties. The original fable characters have existed long before Disney was even born. They could be put under some sort of "fairy tales" banner. Certainly in some cases the character names would have to different or more generic... But everyone would know who they really represented.

No doubt they would sell pretty well to the male demographic.

I'm ok with how the female Disney characters look as they are.
I just realized that making them into a bishoujo would kind of take away an element that made me like them.
My wish had come true since Bandai is making an Elsa and Anna figure. (Yay!) I wish other Japanese toy maker would follow suit.
I would love to see them make my other Disney favorites, not just the female characters. I would love to have a Jim Hawkins figure

Disney bishoujos that sounds awesome disney would go for it as long as they are sold for adult collectors in not in retail stores such target where small children would see them

I was at Hot Topic the other day (yep) when I saw some merchandise that may suggest that Disney could be a bit more open to Bishoujo like products than I thought.

Honestly I think it's all in how it is presented to the people making decisions.

If you parade Koto's big boobed, panty showing Bishoujos in front of them then the answer will be no.

If they are presented as very pretty statue rendentions of Disney girls, which are all already designed to be very "pretty", I think any suit would go for it. I don't need sexualized Disney chicks anyway.

Probably best they are not marketed under Koto's existing Bishoujo brand. Disney would not need the extra selling point.

I would go for a J Scott Campbell Disney line. Normal bishoujo probably wouldn't work. I don't think the recent leg up, bent over thing will fly with Disney.

I looked up these products and all of them are labelled as 'imported'. Also none of them have official Disney logos or labels
