I don't have a solution but I admire the problem.

Came The Dawn (& Other Stories Illustrated by Wally Wood) HC

This is part of Fantagraphics' "EC Comics Library" series of black and white hardcover reprints. Pretty slick presentation, and the printing quality is excellent. I got this one for half-off, so it was definitely worth it for $14; however, I wish that we could get some inexpensive color reprints of the classic EC titles. I'm not sure what motivates publishers such as Russ Cochran and Fantagraphics to go exclusively high-end with deluxe editions. It's not like EC is still releasing comics and building a future fan base. They are excluding so many potential new fans by releasing expensive editions. I guess the established fans are willing to drop such outrageous amounts of money on different editions of the same material, but that can't last.

In the '90s, Gemstone published $10 collections of the various EC titles, binding 5 complete issues, slick covers and all. Now THAT was a great deal!
