Totally, those are how I first learned about great stories like The Galactus Trilogy and Thunder in the Netherworld, which just blew me away.

Another treasury edition fan here! They were my first comics, as well. Those and the Whitman 3-packs got me into the hobby.

Here's what I have .... so far. Most of 'em purchased at the Drug Fair newsstand back in the day for $1.00. My Mom & Dad would always let me get one on our outings.

Yes! That Thor arc Whom The Gods Would Destroy is like Shakespeare, and great to have in oversized treasury edition. I just remember reading that on the floor as a kid and being blown away.

My sister actually bought that book because she thought Thor's hair made him a heartthrob. Little did she know she scored a classic

I remember seeing those big books on the newstand. My mom would take us to the bookstore every Sunday after church, and I would haunt the spinner racks. When I discovered the treasuries, it was over for me. I hunted them every chance I got.

I remember the 6 arm Spidey treasury, greatest Marvel battles, Galactus stories, Howard the Duck, Thor's already mentioned classics...just love those.

Recently paid $30 for Caps greatest battles - a little over priced, but worth it. A bit of a heart string purchase

Haven't even heard of this. What is it? A Treasury?
