That's way too much. Was the original Kenner toy over 2 feet? I remember seeing this in a store called Two Guys when it was released and my mother tell me it was "too ugly and too much".

I still have the original in an old box o toys. Granted, his arms, tail, clear plastic skull cover and extendable mandibles are no longer attached, but I still have it! Way overpriced!!!

Apparently, Diamond Select is also releasing a reproduction Alien figure like this in "18. I'm sure the price will be much more reasonable.

499.99 retail after early access? This explains why the sucker punch spin off statues where so expensive. With these prices I'm pretty much out of GG. No thanks.

No thanks, way way over priced. For $499 you can just go on eBay and buy the original one from 1979.
i always wanted this as a kid. but exactly my thoughts as well. even though its an exact replication of the 79 figure but only larger. i think for that price i would rather have the original.

They certainly would have sold more at 299.00, I would have bought one for that. I'll wait for the HCG Alien vehicle statues.

The pricing on this is kind of extreme. I wonder why they feel that price point is warranted.

Did anybody at all buy one of these? That price still boggles my mind... insane. I really hope GG make better use of the great Alien license in future.
