In the revamped DC universe he is young again as are all the original JSA members all young. What happened before never happened in this continuity. So they are starting from scratch with a young JSA. Alan Scott hasn't even gotten his ring yet. It is going to be him which means NO Jade or Obsidian (another gay hero) in this reboot.
