Too bad, if the kit is the only option, I have to pass...

I don t know, I m in two minds about it. Resin kits are superior in quality and that s a good point. I got a Thor arh resin kit painted by Carlos Fariza and is too ----ing good, you can move without any trouble or damage. On the other side, I got Achilles Immortality made in China and it is so sensitive that you are afraid to move it. Yeah it is more expensive to get a good paint job but in terms of quality is better and beatiful to display with a master paint job...

Four arms for a medusa? Check

Only available as a kit? Check.

Result: HARD PASS

Yes,finally we decided to do kits because the options with Factories were really expensive for Exclusive editions of 100 because the complexity of the piece(paint, parts, etc).
It will be interesting because there are a lot of paint options. We will see.

A kit doesn't bother me if it's a character that I really like.
......like Thor or Odin. (wink wink, nudge nudge)

I totally understand this and I wish more people understood just how hard and expensive producing a piece is. I get that people pay $750 or $1K or whatever and they expect perfect and immediate results but it is a logistical feat to get one of these things from farm to table. I hope you do well with it and I love your work, even though not a fan of the 4 arms but not need to hit that again.

I do love and own his work, it's just a pain for collectors to buy a kit then pay for shipping to the painter, then the paint job and then ship it back.

It makes the statue way more expensive this way.

IF I get one, i might not even paint it. Sometime I appreciate unpainted kits because it is esasier to focus on the sculpted details.
