He's one of my favorite actors with so many top notch movies. On top for me "Last Samurai" is 10/10

Cruise is up there for me too...a very good actor who's been in so many good films, and always gives his best. And by accounts of people within the industry, he's well regarded and seems to be a great guy to work with. I just hope he doesn't bite it while trying to do an overly ambitious stunt, that would be a bummer.

Yeah, I don?t think he has a self-imposed regulator when it comes to what he will not attempt to do in order to deliver ?Holy S? moments to the film audience. And yet, he can also deliver in the dramatic and comedic elements to serve the film. Dude is just wired differently.

It's deja vu time again:

He does. Say what you will about him, but the man has a good eye for movies. His latest three --Jack Reacher, Oblivion and Edge of Tomorrow (haven't seen M:I-RN yet)-- have all been really good stuff.

great sci fi flick, say what you will about cruise but the man always delivers
I knew that statement rang a bell. :P

It's been 5 years, though? Oh my.
Sonic's reply with the preface comment was on point, too. : P Some things never change.

Cruise oozes Hollywood cinema better than anybody. He’s got an eye for good projects. Rarely misses. When he retires, I don’t know who will take up the slack, unfortunately.

Agreed, Tom Cruise is one of the best in the biz. Always been one of my favorites.

Hoping to see the new Top Gun this upcoming week.

Top Gun: Maverick - 10/10

Loved it from start to finish and left the theater with a big smile on my face.

Top gun maverick. 9.5 /10

The movie you thought it would be
The movie it needed to be
The movie you wanted it to be

Reminded me of a great 80s summer movie just like the original. Wasn’t trying to be some big summer event but rather just a great summer movie and that’s exactly what if was

DUNE (2021) 7.5/10
Great effects, will definitely see part two when it comes out. I heard that Timothee Chalamet was going to be Spider-Man but somehow did this instead. I think he made the right choice.
