The Brotherhood of Mutants...
I really hope that Sideshow one day decides to make a Blob and Pyro Premuim Format to fill out this brotherhood setup.

LL has done a few Mags, but I think we talked about this before, and pretty sure we're talking about the same LL. It had a version A and B? A is the one I like. Mr. X ranked version B as his favorite Mags. Definition of gaudy, imo.
BUT, it's not really due to sculpt or pose, both of which are fine (but have been done many times). It's really because of one person's paint job that made the rounds. Just phenomenal. Belt and collar look like worn metal. The biggest issue with this custom is that it's simply not worth it - at least from what I've seen... the asking price is insane.
I kind of glossed over the MAC in your collection, but I just now spent more time looking at it, and...thanks a lot - it does look nicer than I thought! Now I wish I had that one too!
So in short, yes, those two and the Angry Monkey are pretty much the three customs I would consider. Although the Angry Monkey is a great sculpt, but the paint apps look pretty weak. RCB is ok as well, but doesn't scream 'must own'.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Wow! Great pic/set-up as usual, but this time Iron you helped resolve/answer a question I had lingering regarding future display. As I'll have the 3 male figures once Mags gets here, & your set-up sequence looks perfect, as the metal shards coming off Juggs arm seem to be in the process of Mags magnetic manipulation, preparing to fling them. Very cool.
Great stuff/set-up.
P.S. Iron, a small suggestion would be to possibly place Magneto on a slight riser, high enough so he clears Mystique's head, so her hair/colour does not block or get lost in his crotch. This would also "frame" her between Magneto's splayed legs/freeing her silhouette, along with clearing his cape against Sabretooth's arm/claws. Just a thought.

The real kicker with the LL piece? It's engineered poorly (I've seen 2 with cracked ankles). On a ES of 35 kits, that's a big nope from me (coupled with the crazy price). I can't decide if I love that paint job you mention, or the one with bluish fabric parts more. Both amazing...
And both highlight something I love with this Sideshow piece. I love how they painted the "metal" vs the "fabric" parts differently.

That's one of my favourite things about this statue. the body suit has a rich, mat feel to the paint. The collar, gauntlets, shins and cummerbund have a metallic quality and the helmet has a fiberglass with metallic flec paint app.
I'd love to add more Xmen pieces, but I'm fully into Star Wars props now. Debating that Archangel, but not sure if I'll get it for space reasons.

Yea, that would be awesome if they did.
...I'd also like it if they added Avalanche and Toad.

That makes me feel a little better about the LL. lol I downplayed it's sculpt, but it hits the sweet spot between a jacked vs scrawny Mags perfectly. Maybe that's the best thing about it.
I agree with your paint assessment. That is a necessity for making any Mags' costume 'pop'. But while I agree, I still think this one could be better in that department. The collar still seems painted like so many action figures I've seen, including some smaller scale statues (Koto Magneto as well). I.e. just one consistent application. No shadowing, wear, or differentiation between bolts and collar. VERY simple.
Again, it works here because it's a comic-like paint app, for a very comic based sculpt and pose.
