I think everyone should hold judgement on the satellite until this one is painted.
If they do it right, could be a stunner for a base.

One other point about the aura that I've been forgetting to make...
It should be larger, or raised up some in relation to the rest of the statue (Mags + base). As is, if the top of the 'sphere' were to close, it would cut off Magneto's head.

The aura to me is a great concept to try to get across.
I also dig that with it the piece has a large global composition.
However in in realizing it, the necessarily sharp and defined edges might work against it's intention.
Having clear resin, maybe with some random swirling viscosity or subtle and translucent color -and then telescoping it out- might have been a better way to try to convey that power.
Think of the 1/10 IS ant-man, with the outer shell being the full size figure, and the progressively smaller ones emanating from closer to magneto.
Just a thought.

Sorry to bump without new info, but it's now the 8th. Wondering what's going on with this.
To be honest, I suspected the reveal date may not be legit. The only place I've seen it stated is on specfiction's site. I think it may have been timed to coincide with the day after SGCC 2020 (which was canceled some time ago) so maybe that date was no longer relevant. But would be nice for someone at XM or Legendary Beast to comment.
My most anticipated new piece...

That "reveal date" on Spec's site has been there since Summer/Fall 2019. It's referring to December 7, 2019. And that's when we got the pic/videos of it unpainted.
