I hate the two antennas on the top of her head... Why in the world would a sculptor do that... it just looks lame...
Otherwise, the rest of the statues look amazing...

The sculptor did it because it was in the original artwork. Its very common in anime/manga. A lot of the statues in the bishoujo line have them.

Then the artist is lame, when it comes to hair 
I honestly don't remember to many Bishoujo's with two strands of hair standing straight up

All of them that I have, that do not have headgear, have at least one strand standing up. I am not a fan of it either. Looking at my shelf, All 3 Supergirl's have one strand, Power Girl has one strand. Loki, Jane Foster and Huntress do not but they have headgear of some kind.

Never noticed Supergirls single strand by yeah both old and new statues have it... it must be an anime thing or something... just looks weird like a front cowlick...
