Hi guys, hope you read this. I saw that this figure is really getting hard to find and it's sold out everywhere. I found a shop in the UK who has two of them and I bought one.
The thing is, there are also a lot of bootleg out there.
Because the shop doesn't send the items to The Netherlands, it's first being sent to a friend of mine. He will check it first(because of return possibilities). But how can you tell it's a fake one? He isn't a figure expert like I am. Does anybody of you guys know what the differences are?
I couldn’t find anything about fake BATS. But this older post on fake ArtFX+ New 52 JL provides a good summary of what to look out for.
I would try to find an obvious fake on ebay and compare it with some of the non-bootleg pics or official pics. That is if they use actual photos of the fakes and not the same promo photos that Koto put out.
