Finally got my Solid Snake EX. Wanted to share some pictures for those who are waiting or on the fence. Overcast and messy outside. I did my best with what I had to work with.

Statue came in perfect condition. 3 heads, 3 bandanas, ammo box, body, base, rechargeable battery and a micro usb charge adapter.

I got a chuckle from the Shadow Moses Island cardboard box he's hiding in. It goes brown shipper, cardboard box, color box then Styrofoam. It doesn't escape me he's trying to hide from our pugs guarding the fireplace. Any questions just ask.

Anyone have an issue with the snow effect flaking off.

Not off enough to notice missing spots, but touching it and it feels like salt / sand / grains all over your fingers. :/

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Mine did a little. The only 2 things off on this piece we're the batches of snow on the base. Very random for snow, not realistic and the clear spinner for the ammo can not being removable.

9.5/10!!! Loved the packaging and small details. Looks just like the game.

Does anyone else have issues with the ammo box wobbling while rotating?

No sorry. I haven’t had the snow clumping/missing issue or anything with the ammo box. I even blew the statue with a can of air to remove styrofoam and had no issues.

Really? The snow on mine is like glitter. You touch it and your fingers are covered. I figured it was like that for everyone.

Is the peg that your ammo box sits on somewhat deformed/not a flat surface at the top?

Sorry no. I was prepared for the snow going all over the place when I used the air but it stayed put. I do have a few specks like granulated sugar here and there but nothing worth mentioning so far.

As for the peg mine was cut evenly. I provided a few pictures of the snow and peg for you if you want to contact F4F. I would if it's bugging you.

Thanks. I guess the peg is probably the cause of the wobble. Here's a photo of mine for comparison:

I contacted F4F and they are saying that the statue is handmade so there are variations between statues, that this is a common variation, and that they do not want to send a replacement because it will likely be identical.

Here's a video of the issue that I sent them. Am I being overly critical in saying that this defect totally ruins the ammo box feature? It is almost always lopsided while rotating and has a wobble once every rotation.

Received mine and I liked how it turned out. Not having any of the issues that other people have mentioned.

However, this thing is heavier than I expected when I first picked it up. Then I realize most of the heaviness is due to the base....very solid.

The Lithium battery didn't work when I first put it in, I'm assuming it's because it needs to be charged. Not going to really use it though as I worry about batteries being in my statues for long periods of time and potentially cause leakage.
