Unfortunately you aren't missing much. I liked the idea of adding new characters (Ryan Reynolds as Hannibal King and Jessica Biel as Abigail Whistler) but that movie was a train wreck. Snipes wouldn't talk to the cast and threatened the director.

I had high hopes for Iron Fist and we all know how that went.
For something along the lines of Shang-Chi or Iron Fist, I think you are kind of better off finding a martial artist who acts rather than an actor who does martial arts, if you know what I mean.
The lead actor in Warrior, Andrew Koji seems to be a capable actor who can handle the fight scenes. Not sure if getting some of Japanese heritage would go over well in China.

And then they cut and I cried. And Chris cried. And the Russos cried. And everyone cried. It was an emotional day."

If only Donnie Yen wasn't getting up there. How amazing would he be as Shang-Chi.

I'm not sure how Marvel will do now without their heavy hitters Robert Downy Jr and Chris Evans... They were pretty much the glue of the Avengers... I think some of the stand alone films will do fine but I just don't see much hope for an Avengers 2.0.....
I can't picture Thor or Hulk carrying a film with a bunch of newbies. That's IF they even come back...

I was just watching All Hail to The King - One Shot and I started thinking about all the loose threads that could be "pulled" in the next phases of the Marvel Universe.
Here's what I came up with:
The Ten Rings
Samuel Sterns/The Leader
Justin Hammer
Red Skull(if he has indeed been released from Vormir)
Yellow Jacket(we don't exactly know what happened)
Adam Warlock
Andrian Toomes/The Vulture
Mac Gargan/The Scorpion
Baron Mordo
Bill Foster
Kree Empire
I mean, and that's leaving out the time line thing and all the stuff we think is coming.
