thanks for clearing thins up gonk.

one more question: i really like the idea of introducing anime/manga influence into Bishoujo statue line. is it at all possible that Kotobukiya will introduce this type of character designs to other male marvel characters in the future?

Hey gonk, I am very happy that the Bookends will be made of porcelain! Will they come in 1/6 scale as well? I am hoping to see lots of classic villains like Red Skull, Dr Doom, Magneto and many more to build my displays

Several months later, the release date for Gabranth and Sephiroth still remains a complete mystery Would it be possible to get an official update?

I've had Gabranth pre-ordered since March

Questions regarding release dates for Final Fantasy Masterpiece Arts need to be sent to Square-Enix. Contact their customer service at shop@square-enix-usa.com.

Gonk - Any updates on the Fine Art bust bases?

As you noted Zen Azazel, Kotobukiya has just released Dengar, the final ARTFX statue in the Bounty Hunter Series. Everyone can now collect all 6 hunters and build the exclusive bonus figure, Darth Vader.

A Tie Fighter Pilot ARTFX statue was released at the end of summer that may have been overlooked due to all the hype surrounding the hunters. Imperial characters and troopers have always been some of the most popular releases in this line.

While not an ARTFX statue, the X-wing Cross Section 3-D model kit sold out immediately in the US. Retailers should be restocked any day now ... if you originally missed out you have another chance to add this amazing piece to your collection.

With the arrival of The Clone Wars, three series of ARTFX+ statues will be released: The Jedi, Clone Troopers and The Sith. Counting the bonus characters you’ll have 12 new sculptures to collect. Images of The Sith will be available soon (look to StarWars.com for the announcement.)

Kotobukiya will certainly have more classic Star Wars releases in ‘09, but you’ll have to be patient for official announcements!
