Sideshow is a business and they know people love this character. Can't blame them for cashing in. I just hope the pose is different enough from the first version.

They mentioned they were releasing new versions of a few of the court of the dead statues that already came out during a sideshow live. I would link it but too lazy to search for the correct episode.

Not even close to running out of ideas. I think TG said there was going to be 11 (correct me if I am wrong anyone) new statues from the CotD line at SDCC. That is mighty impressive...considering we have only seen half of them.

Since this is SS own IP I don't have any problem double dipping into their own original creation. Knock your socks off if they want to. I enjoy the creativity, and the fact no other company will have any of these characters.

The most important thing that SS needs to address is the QC issues...because the first three all had problems. This is my thinking as to why the first three are the ones being redone.

I imagine the amount of cool designs for a character who's subtitle is " Valkyrie of the Dead" is endless and i imagine it kills them to settle on just a few.

Also she's arguably the most popular release so far, SS would be crazy not to do more of her.

I skipped Kier first time round because i planned to pick her up cheap at a later date....how wrong i was... so i'm happy to see this new one!

Kier is my favorite character so far, and the first statue is awesome...one of my favorite. She's why I got into collecting Court of the Dead in the first place.

That said, I have very little interest in this, things might change after the full reveal but I doubt it, first one is just too perfect in my opinion.

This is old news. They announced that they were doing new versions of Queen, Kier and Siren months and months ago. Not to mention, they sneaked a tease of the new Kier (more action pose) just a few days ago.

And like Loric already stated, they have having a ton of new pieces/characters in addition to the three repeats.

If they aren't careful the line is gonna be dead. I think collectors are gonna get turned off if they keep pumping out repeats.

And yet, I'm a collector of COTD and I'm ecstatic they are doing a new version of Kier and Siren because I did not get the originals. No, I am not every collector, but I guarantee there are others like me out there.
