wow, congrats. I just got one second hand a couple months ago and the base was literally broken in half due to the weight of the bust. Hopefully, you have better luck. Still waiting on the cost of a replacement base.

When I asked the Queen Studios guys at NYCC when they'd start shipping them all out, they told me that the quality control was a slow process--which is fine by me. Then the virus hit so everything got thrown out of whack so it was delayed even further. I'm just excited that there's a light at the end of the tunnel for it getting on my shelf.

I prefer a slow and great QC than the opposite! Especially in the price range.

I've heard about the bases breaking. I'm crossing my fingers that mine arrives ok. Hope you get your replacement soon.

Hey how is it going with the replacement?

I received mine last week with broken base too and they said to me that they can't replace it, that I can send it back (at my charge!!!!) or they can offer 100$ to repair it locally which doesn't cover the repair or even the shipping cost to send it to the repair guy...
I find this really unacceptable for a 3000$ bust

hey, I also saw your post on FB. So far, all I have been offered is a base for free (I pay shipping), but the light up doesn't work or pay them to make a new base ($300 plus shipping). The guy I purchased from is willing to pay half the cost of that second option.

let me know what other updates you get please. I don't understand why they are telling people different things for the same issue??

Yeah I don't know...If didn't post on facebook, he would have done nothing...
Now they want to replace all (bust+base) which is stupid IMO...

Also I don't understand why some bust I saw have very dark hair like black hair and mine, like others, has very light brown hair, almost like the Howard studio bust...

Yea, I’m not sure why they couldn’t just replace the base. Maybe because they need to make sure the light up will work? The hair in the photos just seems to be the lighting to me. I don’t see much difference. I’m trying to see if the guy I bought mine from can do something else than the $300 option for a new one.
