New Driveway and Garage Door due to hurricane Sandy

Well insurance company came thru, got a whole new driveway replaced due to it being destroyed from Hurricane Sandy. And as a house warming gift my parents got me a new garage door. So now im just in the process of insulating the ceiling of the garage so next winter its not a ice box.

But happy with the way things look.

When i first moved in, this is what it was.

Then hurricane sandy hit.

Now i got a new driveway and door that is super thick and no gaps, unlike the old one where spiders live with me during the summer lol.

Lot more to go with outside stuff, but one thing at a time. Think im done for the year with house repairs, stuff is expensive.

Nice. New garage door makes a huge difference on appearance. Good gift.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Being the ass that I am, I have kept thinking about your parents giving you a garage door. If I gave that gift, I would constantly call asking if you've "opened" your gift today. I'd basically do it until you stopped wanting to speak to you, then move on to something new.

If you really wanted to be an ass, you could call John's parents and let them know that they need to paint his shutters white to match the new garage door
