[QUOTE=UnicornPegasus;5375070]34 and female. Been collecting the bishoujos since Koto started the line.

There are worse things to collect, or spend your money on in general. I also don't think you're going to get too many "you need to grow up"s here, given that I'm pretty sure the majority of folks here are well into adulthood. This is an expensive hobby after all.

Hahah...Well, yeah, i was trying to make myself feel better..:/

I definitely agree! I waste my money on a lot of things, but this is definitely more of a love hate relationship.. I wouldn't be posting this if I didn't have issues with the hobby, who would recommend it to anybody in reality?

Its odd, too expensive for younger ppl to buy, but something adults should have moved on from... i could not justify what these figures cost.

p.s. they are pretty amazing / whatever makes you happy..

pps. ill probably have some to sell fairly soon if anyone's keen?

Haha.. you got me.. to be honest no though ...heh

It does seem like that, i literally just got into collecting and went crazy, didn't even realise there was a community....but now realise the market is generally busy as.. i have a couple to sell, the rest i really like and want to keep.

I started the post, as i have no friends that collect statues.. or even really are into super heroes, im just into most things.

I know what you mean, lol. I started with two statues and ended up with too many. I gotta start selling some myself.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

You're never too old to appreciate art, and that's what statues and figures are. 3D art. They aren't toys at this level of collecting, and heck, even if they were, I don't see anything wrong with collecting toys either. (Unless it's creepy dolls or something, because I'm terrified of those. ) Saying some one is too old for something is kind of close minded. If you like something, just do it. Who cares how old you are?
