I love this piece. Not biting but I do love it.

It looks fantastic but I'd be a little nervous of that Sentinel light piece falling off the base. It doesn't look like it's ever firmly in place after watching the assembly video. They certainly struggled with putting it on (and keeping it on) the base.

They're assembling a proto, though. Might be a lot more secure on the production piece.

There are three things that kill this piece for me. And I know they were voiced as concerns months ago, it's a shame XM doesn't take that stuff into consideration anymore:

The metal/armored bracers
The metal /armored boots

(both stupid because he IS armor)

The tension, or lack thereof, on the cables.

Damn shame he doesn't work for people who would buy him because the color is amazing. I like his portrait. I also like the suit texturing/colors.

I always pictured Pete as built more like a power forward and less like a defensive lineman. A mixture of Cockrum and Lee would be perfect IMO.

Looks like they are running the cables the wrong direction on his right hand. From the left hand it should run to the bottom of the right hand and then up over the top.

Not being a comic purist, I like this bracers and boots, adds more depth to the piece.. As for the cables, yeah they could be done different but you can also look at the piece as he's just grabbing the cables and hasn't started lifting quite yet

If I were collecting X-Men, this would be a definite buy.
