So it's two different statues then? Thought it was a switch out body but if not I obviously like the regular more.

Question I'm wondering is if the stealth version lights up or something as I notice it reflecting a green hue onto the base.

The floating, rotating ammo box is so cool, I wonder how they did that.

F4F did that with there's, just a clear rod which rotates the box.

I imagine the stealth version will light up, or its just catching the light really well.

Huh... I've seen F4F's piece but I don't remember the rotating box.

Interesting to know. I'll have to compare the two of them. So far I really like what I'm seeing from this piece!

Thanks for posting Shoo.

This piece looks awesome, great pose with a lot of cool switch outs. I wasn’t fan of F4F’s pose and that concrete wall bookend just ruined it for me.

They are likely using a small motor with some gears to control the speed, just my guess.

...I just seen this pop up on my CG Society thread. The exact same pics.

I assume this is all just CG renders for now.

Is MC studio a licensed or a 'fan art' company?

They do have a license. But like I said, they seem to be a new company.

I thought that too but they have Konami & MGS logos all over the place which most customs don't do for obvious reasons, so yeah they have the license.

The only thing that i worry about now is finished product, lots of companies show amazing Proto's it's the production piece matching that that matters now.

The base - originally we made a sketch with Solid Snake and a dead genome soldier, the cons well the cost and size of it. So depending how well perfoms Solid we might consider add and extra base with the dead soldier as a add on

Pose - we chose a pose that was good for sort of different actions like holding the gun while having a fag to combat pose ( which you do quite a lot in the game).

Portraits- the low poly portrait we felt was a must have and after seeing the feedback I'm glad we did it.

- I often get asked why you didn't put him like wearing the thermal vision googles. Well pretty simple if he was wearing it you couldn't tell if he was solid snake or not, so by doing the way we did it keeps the essence of the character.

The other 2 portraits was to give him a different look that I have never seen in a solid snake statue. A different facial action.

The add ons on the base such the Pal keys ( which are optional, they will come as 3 separate cards so you can display it as you please) and the Ammo box which will simulate the same movement like in the game.

We love to hear feedback from you guys, some we might consider and some not but then again Konami are the last one to say yes or no. That's actually how this works and there is a lot of back and forth till something gets approved.

Having said that our goal is to do high end collectibles with a limited run.

I'm in of making this a great community to speak about projects and ideas but I cannot do it by myself so let's get into it😘
