Apparently, Cavill is a contender to play James Bond. He'd probably work, but there's several people I'd put above him.

Yup, just searched and new articles popping up about both Cavill and Affleck. One even stated the Miller Flash was postponed.

Sad as I think he is a good Superman but he just got crap to work with as far as scripts. The DC "Universe" on film is a mess.

I think Cavill noticed the ship (DC Minnow) was sinking and got off before his Career sank with it....

Quite likely, but he was arguably their best asset, so said ship just got heavier.

I'd say if they lose Gadot that is the death blow and just start from scratch in a few years. Losing Cavill is a major blow, but then I think of how the MCU managed without Spider-Man and the X-Men for so long and if DC has a good run we could have an unconventional (No Superman or Batman) Justice League 2 that performs better than the first did.

Losing Gadot will be a major blow. A lot worse than loosing Cavill or Affleck. She is a bigger fan favorite.
