I think the reg is probably the one I'll display. It certainly matches the tone of the movie more. But there is something about the variant I like also. I'll see how they look in person.

God that’s just sick! VK is THE best artist producing film screen prints today IMHO. If I didn’t already own the Stout Lost Boys I’d be all over that beauty.

I would have to agree. Shame he is almost exclusively with HCG. They tend to butcher the collectibility with massive edition sizes and variants galore. The regular Lost Boys has a respectable edition size but they printed their famous different color paper variants.

His Guardians Of The Galaxy at HCG has an edition size of 650. LOL. Great print though.

I have quite a few of Vance’s prints. Really love his Alien variant print. There’s been a ton of Alien and Aliens prints but his are the best I’ve seen. His Dracula print is pretty awesome too. My mother in law is vampire movie nut so I picked that one up and had it framed for her for Christmas a couple years ago. She absolutely loves it. Vance is one of the few artists I follow every release he puts out. Great talent and a really nice guy.

You guys have any print storage advice? Do you use portfolios? Keep them in the tube? Some other way? Any feedback would be helpful. From this thread I just discovered a whole ton of places to get great prints and art other than Mondo so I'm looking at a good way to store stuff until I Frame.

I use a presentation case with protective sleeves. I would NOT keep them in tubes for prolonged amounts of time for several reasons.

1)Tubes and craft paper are not acid free.
2)You’ll have a difficult time flattening a poster when it comes time to frame it if it’s been tubed for a long time. Better to store it flat.

Thanks for the response Hellboy! Would that do the trick or is it a bit overkill?

No that’s perfect. Same thing I have and it works great. Short of buying a flat file it’s your best option.

@Hellboy thanks for the response..

FYI - NYCC Exclusive Release Announcement Part 2

It will begin October 17th at 1 pm Eastern. I'm actually only interested in the Black Panther by Tom Whalen for this drop.
