thanks Jake!

guys, many of you know Jake Mackessy, owner of Mercenary Art Studios. Jake has been helping my boys and i score some great art lately and our first box from him arrived today. ill post my stuff first, followed by the boys stuff and misc sketches later tonight.

Babisu Kourtis free sketch (his night playing with silver pens)

Humberto Ramos (i tried to get on his list at Wondercon but missed out, Jake scored for me at SDCC)

Ryan Ottley (still want a full commission at some point, 1 of my 4 grails, but this is just as awesome, also scored from SDCC)

and finally Katie Cook (Jakes had this since Denver, shes been on my list since early this year, happy to have added to the collection)

again, big thanks to Jake, what a guy! still waiting on a big shipment from Greece that shouldnt be much longer, excited about that too!

When I think of Katie Cook, I remember that line she had in front of her booth at SDCC - the longest of any artist there.

Her little pieces are so reasonably priced and unique, hard not to want to get a grip I would imagine. Looking forward to meeting her some day for a larger piece. From what I've heard she paints quickly and even this year I've noticed her popularity go through the roof. Her next gig is the Star Wars celebration, shell be crazy busy there too I would imagine.

Great Invincibles but that Planet Hulk is amazing.

What were you thinking, you ask? Rob... it doesn't matter what you were thinking. Welcome to the Green Snowball, hands and arms inside at all times, and all that....

Jake sounds like "good people". Very cool of him to help you out.
