anyone have any thoughts on MMH? I tried him out for about an hour yesterday, pretty fun to use, but very technical with a high learning curve

Just saw a vid of Zatanna and she looks frickin' mental! Reminds me of Kitana or Mileena from MK - fast with some brutal looking combos.

Ordered Zatanna she is going to take getting used to. My controller is about 5 or 6 years old, might be time to get a new one. I can't seem to pull off moves that require a quick left right then button.

I'm debating on picking this up. Wal-Mart (Canada) has it up for $30 this friday...just wondering how much playtime I'll get with it and how hard it is to control on the standard 360 gamepad (not buying an arcade stick)
I played Mortal Kombat for a while (same developer) and as fun as it was, it got boring after a while especially with the control layout). I just don't want to buy this because of the comic connection only. Is it really worth it? Good amount of content?

Like any fighting game it will really boil down to how much time you plan on spending playing against other people. When you like a fighting game it has infinite play time if you have human opponents. It has a really good Story Mode, but it's about 1/3 of the length of MK9's. It also has a set of 10 Challenges per character but ultimately that mode kinda fell flat IMO. Playing on a pad is fine, the game allows for both MK and SF style commands for specials. I've been playing it regularly since March but I enjoy breaking fighting game downs and exploring all the little nuances of the engine.
