Nah, that would make way too much sense considering she's on a Hellfire Club base.

It started because someone said offload the Variant Variant before SS or XM does another Psylocke... no harm done.
So, explain the spamming with XM Emma. Whatever, typical.

I can see you see it as me spamming about XM, but there was a whole point you missed. It was stated XM doesn't do good portraits...remember, this is all born out of the discussion of selling this Psylocke before XM or SS makes a new one...the idea that they can’t do a Psylocke portrait well...I used Emma as an example that they can do good portraits compared to SS, not that they necessarily would which I stated as well.

But be mad about it if you want.

Hi,

Long time reader and collector, first post.

I got Psylocke last year with everyone else. The base was broke and frankly the paint was crap. They offered credit for the base or wait, I waited.

Fast forward to about 3 weeks ago. Sideshow asks me to return the statue. I got the replacement last Monday and was pretty shocked to find the psyblade switchout. On top of that the paint is 9.9/10, a huge improvement over the first.

Wasn't sure what to make of it so I just told them it was a great customer experience.

I think that makes 4 known now (?)

Congrats! And welcome. Nice side by side comparison. Huge improvement indeed.

Random, but I also like the styrofoam inserts around the base better this time. I’ll be moving soon so I need to repack her and the new inserts are easier.

For sure, the base feels fairly durable for its shape but I'm still extra careful when moving it.

The variant looks superior and love the extra part!

So my replacement arrived today, and apparently the post office used it for kick boxing practice. I became very worried when they handed me this

LOL!

The GD styrofoam is even bent. No possible way this survived! I open the back flap...

Look intact...the portrait is actually loose in the box! Amazingly, nothing is broken or damaged! Thankfully I have the other art box/shipper still because this one has had it. Frankly I don’t know how it made it at all. My heart absolutely sank when they handed it to me. I didn’t have any styrofoam around the base this time but there was a piece on top. How this survived without breaks but the other one didn’t is beyond me.

So jealous and glad for everyone that is getting their replacement!

Heck I joined the collecting game too late and missed out on Psylocke so at this point I'd be happy getting a regular statue for close to retail lol.

The face on this EX is sooooo niceeeee tho. Would love to get this someday.
