I feel you, man!! I bought the special edition of the first two plus all the DLC, just to see the GOTY edition on the $20 bin at Walmart. 
The wait is gonna kill me for a few months, but I will be alright. Battlefield 4 will get the same treatment.

Eric Holmes was involved with the game and he is an awesome guy, a huge comic fan, and a great game developer. He was behind the Hulk Ultimate Destruction game so I would have full confidence in him.

 fair enough if you want all the stuff. I used to love collecting all the extras in terms of the collectors editions until one day I realized I had too much gaming stuff (mostly junk) lying around. I ended up selling some but trashing most of the "extras"
I guess the statue in this case is the rare collector piece that is worth it...I always go with the regular version though as I just don't have the room for anything else anymore

This and injustice are the only 2 collectors ed or pre orders i have ever bought, i just wait for a discount on the rest.
