Amazon liquidates stock because it cost them money to warehouse items. Slowly tick it down until someone buys it.
Amazon can do this because they have a much larger picture to evaluate. Taking a small loss on this item is nothing to them, they could buy Sideshow with their loose change.

We can actually thank Walmart for several of these sales. Walmart has been very aggressive about online promotions, Store Pick-Up, 2-day shipping w/o membership fees, etc. Thus, Amazon has been PMing Walmart on some of the best statue deals.
Then there's the miserable Bombshells Away Team Batwoman statue, which has dropped to below $45. Amazon and Walmart are trying to out-do each other in terms of getting rid of inventory. I think DC and Diamond realized that they got a turd twice in terms of QC. I would not be surprised if DC and Diamond are selling these to Amazon and Walmart for the cost of shipping plus 1 penny.
