Hope you’re doing good Manu. Can’t blame you, CP have proven they don’t deliver to their Proto’s.

It’s puzzling how they delivered a really good difficult predator bust(for the most part well done imo) but fail with some stupid sloppy paint on the Alien heads. Even with the sample Giger bust, overkill of black on the top ridges running back and very black on the side part of its face imo. And then the reverse it seems like the nose indent needs more black imo lol. Mind you, it’s harsh lighting so hopefully it isnt actually like that.

I wish they would make that skull accessible so if it needs tinkering then we can do it ourselves. Still have this on PO though and going to roll the dice on the Maquette. If it’s not displayable then back to Sideshow it goes lol.

This is up for order on Coolprops website, but not Sideshow yet. The price works out to be around $1347, so I suspect it will be slightly higher via SSC. I'm guessing it'll be anywhere from $1350-1400 which isn't bad. If Coolprops can deliver what they are selling, I'll happily pay that for this beauty. But I can't shift my doubts around them sadly. Let's hope this statement piece is the turning point for them.

Actually, looking at the pictures they have up, it is clearly a production sample. The paint already isn't great and both feet are still annoyingly pointing to the right... I'm torn. This is the best Big chap sculpt we've ever seen, but it's coolprops handling it..

The the price is great based on what i saw at the Con but of course, whether the production piece is worth that is another story. What a annoying situation...bring your A game on this CP! I'm not really bothered by the feet point to the right since it's how the original suit looks like in the museum as the did scanned it from head to toe and without reposing it. The paint job on the other hand...it looks like half finished faux bronze without patina applied...hopefully it's just pics. Still liking the piece a lot.

Not sure why mod moved it to the Prime1 section. Here's the original thread.

Just anybody get it’s based exactly on Gigers museum alien. Not exactly like movie but museum. And people complaint on pose. Lol. It’s supposed be static pose. Not leaping. Not running or ready kill.
