Nobody is saying the existing pieces aren't great and won't be sought after for years to come. Heck I own most of them and can vouch first hand how amazing they are. I'd go as far as saying they're the most consistent line of PFs the company has ever produced. That said I still think saying "their time has passed" is an accurate statement based solely on the line coming to a close.

If PI has put up WIP pics of any LOTR pieces I must have missed them. Granted I don't follow them on social media but to the best of my knowledge nothing has been posted here. If you've seen them and wouldn't mind sharing that would be awesome! I have no doubt that they could do something incredible with the license but until I see the product I don't consider them officially in the game. Others may feel differently and that's fine.

Absolutely stunning. A definite pre-order for me, but I'll wait to see if Weta has their usual Christmas sale before pulling the trigger. I can easily see them offering a deal for those willing to purchase this and the War Troll at the same time.

It's a thing of beauty. Still not 100% on whether I can afford this or not though. At least with the ES and price point I can be fairly certain I'll have plenty of time to make a decision.
