I still like this statue but I don't think I'll be adding this to my collection. $850 isn't so bad for this statue.

Can't find this on the Iron Studios website anymore. Do they normally take these things down and just offer through their distributors?

Man, I just saw this. While I'm beyond stoked that IS is making 1/4 X-MEN statues, I am disappointed that they're taking so many liberties with Hank's costume. It doesn't give me hope that we'll ever see them release a Byrne Era Cyclops or Storm.

Just be great full it’s not another Jim Lee inspired costume. I myself love them because of the nostalgia factor (animated series), but it seems to rub a lot of old time collectors the wrong way quite a bit.

I actually love the Lee Era. I just hate their costumes. All those straps, pouches, buckles, and bomber jackets look terrible IMO. If we got an Astonishing Cyclops, I'd definitely pick it up. That's my 2nd favorite Cyclops costume. Storm is my only major hang up. That's a piece I really want in her Cockrum/Byrne costume. I know sideshow already released a classic Storm PF, but I didn't really like it.

My biggest wish is that sideshow would just give us classic variants of the recent Lee Cyclops and Storm PFs. That would quite literally solve the problems classic X-MEN statue collectors are having.
