Well this doesn’t sound like the proper Spooktacular spirit. Especially since your anger is misdirected at me and not from posting a question in the wrong thread. Now of course I could be the obstinant one and didn’t realize you wrote point and I took it as “a reason” rather than points, which would make your post belong here. So maybe I am the foolish one.

A waste of time... for something that literally only takes a minute of comprehension and action.

It's going to happen whether we like it or not just like taxes and death. Someone is going to post incorrectly in the stickied Reward Codes thread. Happens every year like clock work.

It really speaks volumes about our society.

Thread rules: "Only post RP codes in the RP Code Only thread."

Eventual person who has a problem with reading comprehension: "Can I post something that isn't a RP code there?"
*Decides to post something not RP code related.

I then get an alert that there is a code. Based on various IFTTT rules I have setup, I then get phone calls, text messages and at certain times of the night my lights cut on. I stop everything to quickly log in to get the code. Only then do I find out it wasn't a code, and some person with a tenuous grasp of the English language has misinterpreted the rules as well as the title of that thread.

I and others come to this thread to complain, yet we are the bad guys because we should just expect that the rule to not post anything but RP codes in the RP Code Only thread is too complicated for a large portion of society.

You took my honest mistake as a chance to flex your internet muscles in order to shine light on my mistake. Further putting yourself on a pedastil as the self proclaimed messiah of Spooktaculat of SF spook.

I reacted accordingly.
