People spend $700-800 dollars for a phone (that they buy just for the aesthetics and the status symbol, in many cases) but don't understand $300-400 for a statue...

I agree. People are tunnel visioned. I have friends that build these massive gaming computers for hundreds of dollars but when I tell brag to them about a statue or a bust they raise their nose. Smh.
