The cape is probably PVC though. I can't imagine it being polystone.

Well, that would make sense. Was the Hush Batman's cape PVC?

Good lord. What a piece. A must have for me, as Fabok draws my personal favourite comic batman, by a wide margin. This piece captures his art perfectly. Those portraits! Perfect batman.

wow, I never thought I'd ever see a 1/3 statue with a base deeper than the CM Iron man. That's insane and makes this a automatic pass. Best comic Batman statue I've ever seen though.

Dang. Not a single "that's what she said" among so many opportunities.

The portraits are incredible. I am shocked at the width and depth of the base. This wouldn't even fit in my moducase 150 max plus.

I still really like this statue, but those dimensions are huge. This will be an impressive statue in person I'm sure. As an Alien & Predator collector, I'm always surprised by the prices on stuff like this also. It's expensive, but it could be worse given what's on offer....

i just think something like this is bound to be out-done by the next piece that has more "OMG WTF WOW" factor. The art means nothing to me so that could be a BIG reason why i'm not crazy over it.
but if you guys like the art and it's near and dear to you...i can understand the love.

Meanwhile the Jim Lee HUSH art . . . that's another story
As usual SHOGUN is so keen at expressing the point.
It's time to realize that statues are just going to get better and better. Digital rendering has changed the game and will continue to as it becomes more cost effective, accessible, and as artists' skill sets grow.
Though it's just starting for games when deep learning hits modeling all bets are off for things we haven't even imagined possible.

As usual for P1 this has outstanding elements: the cape, portraits, and similarity to the key art.
But like a ton of Prime 1 stuff it's missing a spark something that makes it unique, classic, timeless, iconic... unless you are attached to the source material.

Prime 1 statues are like a sorority party: Tons of eye candy, hot chicks grabbing your attention one right after the other, but not a single breathtaking one that you want to be your one and only.

Just PO'd the DX. Just paid the down payment is all this time. June-September of 2022, lol. Guess I have plenty of time to save up. That will also give me time to figure out where to put it.
